？ Lead Manufacturing Engineering team to sustain /improve processes in collaboration with other departments or develop new production processes as required by technology changes or new products introduction.
？ Supervise the engineering project (include product transfer projects) execution effect to achieve quality, cost and delivery goals of the project.
？ Co-ordinate relative production engineering activities within the company
？ Participate in the effort to implement lean manufacturing and reduce lead-time & WIP.
？ Work with engineering manager to identify cost reduction and profit improvement programs.
？ Ensure that responsibilities under the Quality System as defined in the Quality Manual are met.
？ Participate to the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality system.
？ Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the responsibilities defined in the Company Safety Statement.
？ Participate to the development, implementation and maintenance of the Heath & Safety system.
？ Work with EHS to ensure completion of all Job Safety Analysis.
？ Identification of Training Needs of subordinate
？ Ensure manufacturing engineering team is compliant with all sending-site guideline.
？ Build and develop the ME team to support future growth; develop compelling career progression paths and development plan for each team members.
？ Develop and maintain an environment of continuous improvement and process excellence
？ Ensure collaboration of Engineering group across other functional area, establishing effective working relationship with local partners
？ Develop collaborative networks within MD&D and J&J
？ Own and manage the technology roadmap for the site to support transformational process development
？ Manage Make capital for the site in close collaboration with finance to hit the quarterly target and in using Instantis as the unique financial tracking tool.
？ Effective Communicator in Chinese and English
？ Good People Management and Leadership
？ Presentation, Facilitation and problem solving, data based judgment and decision making
？ New process development and/or introduction capability / experience
？ Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
？ Minimum 6~8 years’ experience in a Engineering role within a multinational company
？ Experience with engineering products/machine tools. (CNC Machines)
？ Previous experience within the Healthcare/Medical Devices Sector is plus
？ Lean & Six Sigma knowledge and experience, Green Belt of Black Belt certification
