Responsibilities:
Lead, oversee, coordinate and facilitate the activities in a production area or manufacturing cell ensuring safety, quality, and compliance while achieving production goals, efficiency and yield targets and cost objectives.
Full compliance and enforcement of all Safety, GMP, Regulatory, Product Quality, Company Policies and Environmental requirements.
Stop further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming product condition.
Train and/or coordinate the training and required qualifications of personnel within assigned area.
Ensure product is manufactured to the most current/validated method/process and specification and DHR for every lot is correctly filled in per GMP & QS requirements.
Develop, coordinate and/or implement root cause problem solving, preventive and corrective actions.
Ensure equipment, tools, fixtures, gages and measuring devices re properly used, maintained and calibrated in his area of responsibility.
Develop, coordinate and/or implement production activities, schedules and methods to ensure production targets and needs are achieved.
Facilitate/drive/support/coordinate/participate in the continuous improvement and elimination of waste journey for Stryker Suzhou-The Stryker Way.
Make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect and/or overtime labor.
Work with engineering and supply chain in forecasting production schedules and capacity requirements.
Ensure traceability and inventory accuracy/control..
Understand and be able to apply, enforce, comply and meet all GMP standards and quality requirements.
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal communication and supervisory skills.
Familiar with analytical tools, such as FMEA, process control plan and SPC.
Good PC skills
Effective organizational skills.
5+ years related manufacturing or technical experience preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in developing and working with small group problem solving teams preferred.
B. S. in Engineering (preferred)
B.B.A. or B.S. in related curriculum.
