Responsibilities:
Plans utilization and capacity of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations: Studies functional statements, value stream, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units, and production cells.
Responsible for manufacturing work place overall layout design, including new project introduction and existing process continue improvement to maximum the shop floor utilization.
Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standard work for labor utilization.
Analyzes work force utilization, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and customers demand and the TKT time, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment capacity request.
Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
Productivity improvement, time and motion study and ergonomics optimization for operations, optimize current route system of existing products and coordinate equipments rearrangements
Requirements:
Must have excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills.
Prefer the experienced in GMP or ISO quality systems
Fluent in English and Chinese in both technical and business speaking and writing skills.
Preferred to have knowledge and work experience in Lean Manufacturing system.
Must be able to generate, follow, and explain detailed instructions and inspection procedures of the responsible areas accurately.
Prefer more than 5 years work experience in Industrial Engineering.
Working experience in foreign company, to be familiar with manufacturing system.
Experience on working in an environment with multiple projects and varied release cycles.
