Principal Software Engineer

招聘人数：1-2人 到岗时间：不限 年龄要求：不限 婚况要求：婚姻状况 The Principal Engineer is responsible for providing key technical expertise leadership in the development of medical software solutions (which includes hardware, software and software services), that will meet local China surgical market and business unmet needs.

This position requires the meeting of customers (healthcare professionals and patients) to identify unmet clinical needs and new software solution opportunities. This shall be achieved through collaborations with Medtronic Early Technology teams, located in China and overseas.

This person must have strong communication and collaboration skills. This person should also be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
·Support the identification, prioritization, and validation of customer needs.
·Define and maintain system requirements to satisfy customer needs.
·Define and manage system architectures, and sub-systems requirements.
·Lead in the technical definition and realization of solution, by leveraging existing in-house technologies or solutions.
·Lead in the definition and implementation of system verification & validation activities to ensure that solution requirements and quality system requirements are being met.
·Make pragmatic trade-off between time-to-market, product costs, product reliability, product features, and project resources.
·Produce surgical navigation related deliverables based on Medtronic China and/or surgical procedure requirements, depending on project strategy.
·Produce and present timely periodic status reports, and other reports as required.
·Collaborate with different functions across borders.
·Be involved in shaping & monitoring of projects scope, deliverables, schedule, resources, and costs required.
· Be involved in solution business case / proposal.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience Required

· Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.
· More than 8 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in the Medical Technology or Health Care industries.

Experience & Knowledge Required

·Extensive experience in software system engineering (design, coding, testing).
·Extensive Experience in product UI/UE design.
·Experience in voice-of-customer (VOC) studies.
·Good knowledge of latest trends and technologies used in software solutions designed for the mass consumer market in various fields, not limited to the medical industries.
?Sufficient knowledge of China FDA requirements, in order to explore & navigate product RA pathway.
·Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Able to work in direct, cross-functional, cross-geography and cross-cultural teams.
·Able to lead in the brainstorming of innovative ideas / solutions.
?Driven, self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
·Able to work effectively in matrix environment.
?Able to travel domestically and internationally.
?Knowledge of interventional surgical of Liver/Lung is preferred
?knowledge of surgical navigation is preferred
