Responsibilities:
? Develop, implement and raise direct and co-i***estment funding to achieve CoWealth’s and MED1’s liaison business strategy and model for the Greater Chinese markets.
? Manage marketing activities and promotion of fund to support the MED1’s capital fundraising activities
? In close cooperation with CoWealth and MED1 target, screen, promote and lead co-i***estment sourcing to attract potential acquiring parties and i***estors to directly i***est in specific product development projects
? Perform due diligence analysis on potential i***estors, acquiring parties, and product market sizing and fit for the Greater China market and report finding to strategic decision makers
? Establish Cowealth’s and MED1’s Strategic International Ventures Fund’s brand presence and build and maintain a network of institutional i***estors and strategic acquirers in Greater China
? Source and manage potential buyers for acquisition of completed products to support MED1’s portfolio exits
? Develop and translate English or Chinese language materials and reports for promotion/marketing, i***estor relations communications, product-specific introductions, and legal agreements (term sheets, limited partnership agreements, and non-disclosure agreements).
? Represent the MED1 Fund and manage the i***estor relations activities for Greater China-based Limited Partners, to include fi***cial reporting, regulatory needs, general fund management activities, and other administrative requirements as necessary
? Articulate the Fund’s strategic direction, product details, project-specific operational timelines and details, fund performance and risks, and general bicultural management associated with cross-border i***estment deals
? Assume all business unit administrative management responsibilities, including budget planning and forecasts, accounting, human resources, and legal to be shared and discussed operationally with CoWealth and MED1 and management on an ongoing basis and presented annually to executive management.
Background:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, Life Sciences, or Engineering
? Master’s Degree Preferred in Business or Law
? Minimum 4 years of private market i***estments (e.g., raising capital for hedge funds, venture capital and private equity), i***estor relations, private market i***estment-specific marketing, or other fi***ce roles with experience managing projects and representing the company to external stakeholders
? Background in medical device industry with preferred expertise in ophthalmology and women’s health
? Fluent both written and spoken in in Chinese and English
