Systems Engineer
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Be responsible for feature-level technical leadership and contribute to technical realization of a product release/lifecycle management for Computed Tomography (CT) in the medical imaging business that will help improve the lives of millions of millions of people around the world, while advancing Philips digital transformation journey as a global leader in Health Technology.
You are responsible for
?Feature technical leadership and responsibility as part of a new product release or sustaining activities
?Translation of user requirements, requirements management, top level design, decomposition of derived requirements
?Feasibility of potential solutions
?FMEA
?Design reviews
?System Integration coordination
?Technical liaison to engineering
?Defect management
?Risk Management
?Ensuring compliance with the product lifecycle, development procedures as well as all applicable quality, regulatory and standards requirements
?Design for Excellence (Reliability, Manufacturability, Serviceability, Value, etc.)
You are a part of
A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Systems Engineering Sr.Manager, with Cross-Functional and Product Managers as your key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum Qualifications:
?Bachelor of Science in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent degree in a Scientific/Engineering discipline.
?Minimum 3 + year of relevant experience in medical product engineering or in a similar field.
Desired Qualifications:
?Evidence of practical knowledge of standards and regulations pertaining to the medical device industry, both domestic and international. This includes but is not limited to organizations such as FDA, IEC, ISO, CFDA, ACR, AAPM, COCIR, MITA and other directives such as RoHS and WEEE. Examples include: FDA 21CFR820.30, IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-2-44 and ISO 14971.
?Proven excellence in technical leadership in a matrix environment and cross-functional team.
?Master’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics or Biomedical Engineering.
?Deep insight in engineering/ architecture.
?Knowledge and experience spanning multiple engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical, electrical, software and systems engineering) is advantageous.
?Prior experience as a medical device systems engineer or lead design engineer.
?Experiences on design control and process.
Skills:
?Demonstrated experience of working with cross-functional teams to drive the output
?Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills while communicating in both English and Chinese
?Good communication skills
?Good leadership, integration and influence skills
