Develop various mechanical engineering solutions encompassing design, implementation and testing to meet sub-system requirements for CT and PET/CT Scanners.






You are responsible for
?Perform CT system engineering changes by following engineering change management process
?Perform the analysis, testing, troubleshooting and documenting of internal or supplier mechanical systems and/or sub-systems.
?Perform modeling, simulation and analysis along with creating design requirements; and design solutions for the design of hardware systems and/or sub-systems with support from senior engineers.
?Follow standard practices and procedures with all development and when analyzing situations or data from which produces well written documentation.
?Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
?Support the development of good Value Engineering and Design for Reliability/Service methodology with support from senior engineers.
?Solve problems pertaining primarily to the technical domain using any and all methods, including using others or finding published solutions.
?Learn quickly but may require some guidance and instruction from more senior members.
?Meet deadlines but may need help with establishing long term estimates and setting priorities.
?Additional duties as assigned.




You are a part of

A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Director, Product Engineering, with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.



To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
?Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
?1-3 years’ experience in designing & development solutions for use in Medical Imaging scanners
?Proficient in using mechanical CAD software (both 3D modeling and 2D drawing), Solidworks is a must and highly desired
?Experience in finite element analysis and structure design is preferred
?Working knowledge of designing to the IEC 60601 standard(s)
?Product development process and good knowledge in ISO13485 (preferred)
?Ability to work within a cross functional organization with good communication skills.
?Structured problem analysis and solving
?Must be open-minded to assure best design is chosen
?Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills while communicating in both English and Chinese
